Pastor's Welcome

Hi, I’m Greg Curtis and I'm the pastor of Community Christian Church, one of the many great churches here in the Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, and surrounding neighborhoods.

It was in 1985 that I first moved here to the Orange County community and helped start the church I now pastor. Community Christian Church is a non-denominational congregation launched by our mother church, Eastside Christian, in Fullerton, California. Our worship at the church is what I call “neo-traditional”: we have a band (drums, guitar, the whole thing). They drive the music in our worship, yet we always manage to have a hymn in the line up and we serve communion every week. Silent time to meditate by candlelight is also common at Community Christian Church.

We currently have over 400 active people at Community Christian Church, around 250 of them present on any given Sunday morning. So there’s definitely a place for you here if you are searching for a church home or even just a place where you and your kids can connect with other kids to find resources for your spiritual journey. We have three services to choose from: one at 5:00pm on Saturday Night, and two on Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and another at 10:30 AM with Infant & Toddler Care and children's classes available during both services. We also provide a Youth Worship service to meet your teenager's needs at 9:00am for Middle School Students and one at 10:30am for High School Students. We’re located right on the border of Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills where Kellogg dead ends on La Palma. We have provided you with driving directions and map viewing options to help you find the church. Our website can answer many of your questions and orient you about our church before you even visit. Also, be sure to check out our de-churched.com website for more of who we are and what we do in our community.

I recently gave a message during a teaching series I titled, “Replacing The Missing Building Blocks Of Your Home”. This series was based on the 10 commandments. A portion of the message was based on the 4th commandment which gives us a building block called “rest”, something I bet you could use a little more of if you’re anything like me.

So enjoy the message, the music, and our website. If we can serve you in any way just let us know or come visit us at Community Christian Church on Sunday morning.

With anticipation,

Greg Curtis, Senior Pastor
